Nine years after it was formed in 1911, the Computing-Tabulating-Recording Company (CTR) published this ad illustrating some of its major offerings. Back then, the company (which was later renamed IBM in 1924) sold a variety of time equipment (seen at the top), including dial recorders and time stamps; tabulating equipment (at lower left), including vertical sorters and key punches; and scales (at lower right), including one- and two-arm fan scales.
